Weddings & Events Farm to Table 808 LLC provides "Farm to Table Style" cooking, which means all food is fresh, organic, and naturally grown here from Hawaii (no set menus). Allowing someone else to join you on the journey of planning the most special day of your life is a big decision. From the start, we build a relationship with every client- we get to know you, your interests, and most importantly, your love story. Creativity is where we thrive. We have the ability to transform your vision into a unique design that represents you as a couple. Whether it's a rustic outdoor wedding, an extravagant ballroom wedding, or simple elegance of a beachside reception, you can be confident it will be unique and memorable. Also we can accommodate Sports Nutritional and Dietary Foods for customers who have special health needs. (gluten-free, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetic, potassium deficiencies, etc.)
Catering Styles & Pricing At Farm to Table 808 we have many catering service styles to choose from. Many of our clients incorporate more than one style for their event:
Butler Passing - A classy service style, butler passing refers to wait staff carrying around trays of food and drinks. (Great for social events)
Stations - Stations are a fantastic set up to make your event interesting and encourage guest interaction. With a variety of stations, attendees can move around the event, looking forward to what's next.
Action Stations - Take it up a notch with "dinner and a show". An action station is a station set up where items are prepared to order. Many items can be partially prepared requiring a quick prep finish to avoid waiting times.
Self-Serve Buffets - With this set up food items are lined up on a linear table set where guests proceed through and take what they want.
**Portion-Controlled Buffets - Food items are lined up and some or all buffet items are served by attendants while guests proceed through. This type of service is effective to control food portions and ensure that everyone gets served before any items potentially run out. (most requested)
Plated - This is a high level of service where each guest is served their meal individually. This style of service is labor intensive; it requires a waiter for every three tables on average as well as additional staffing to pre-set tables, to plate up the food and to clean up. (Great for elegant weddings, corporate events, special events)
Family Style - Similar to a plated sit-down dinner, family style events are less formal and are great for fostering guest interaction. Instead of individual plates, the food comes on large platters and is placed in the middle of the table. Great for family and business dinners. (most requested) Pricing based off per staff per hour: Butler $30 per hr. Server/Wait Staff $20 per hr.
